  • I bought my first own car a few years back.. a 2007 VW Passat 3.2 in this beautiful blue. Im in the middle of re- painting it with my dad. He is the first I talk with about car things and we figure things out together. But my dream car at the moment, although a bit cheap, is a B6 Passat CC with the 3.6 engine. They are like 10k- 17k in good condition where I live. Not yet something I can just go and buy since I dont want to finance.. but not unobtainable at all. My dad got a -88 Chevy camaro z28 5.7 iroc-z for his 50th birthday. My dream is to some day buy a similar model and restore one with him... had so many good memories with that car driving around the country when I was the size of an fire hydrant :D. Thank you for the great videos.. next I will diagnose a noisy belt with you tips!

  • hi chrisfix, hope you notice this but can you elaborate on the last bad strut symptom, harsh ride. I had just replaced my strut mount but I noticed that when I hit a pothole or went in a rough road I feel its very stiff like you can feel every hole and bump in the road. also my steering had become "unruly" when I'm turning on a rough road. I asked my mechanic about this and he said it was normal since I just had replaced the mounts. hope you can help. thanks!

  • Did I did it is it was so helpful

  • Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut 330 mph

  • I owe an Automotive battery shop and this is 100% correct CCA is the best indicator of the power of the battery. it may be 12.4volts but if the CCA is lower than the OEM requirement to start the vehicle it wont start at all.

  • I know a wax like substance is meant to help with preventing oily surfaces from building up, but are there even better sources? I would really like to see an array of choices because this can help the future of cleaner cars and maybe even the car paint market too. For example, I would use "Slips" on my window if it were sold as some kind of shelf product. But I could really love some Omniphobic products if you could recommend.

  • MY TIP is park ur car in a garage]

  • Big fan of bmw and yours also🙏

  • Couple tips.. from someone who's installed thousands of those magnetic switches professionally over the last 15 years.. that factory double sided tape will not last long at all with the weather. Also, when using a relay (switch) to break power, ALWAYS break the positive leg instead of the negative.

  • My first car was a 2001 dodge stratus. The battery was located in the front driver finder well. To replace it you had to remove the wheel, liner and 2 brackets. To jump start the car it had 2 terminals on the firewall that where too far apart to connect jumper cables...i do not miss that car and hate the engineers who designed it.
